Policies Shipping Policy: We ship via UPS 3 Day Select for most shipments, UPS Next Day Air is also available. We reserve the right to ship via US Priority Mail for smaller items. All items are shipped insured, and title passes to the customer at the point of shipment when it leaves our store. For International Shipping, or shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and other US Territories, you MUST contact the store by phone, mail, or e-mail to make special arrangements and obtain the proper shipping costs. ALL IMPORT FEES, TAXES, DUTIES, AND OTHER CHARGES RELATED TO INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER! NOTE: Your selection of a shipping method does not guarantee a shipping date! It generally takes us 1-3 days to process an order. However, we will give your Next Day Air order priority over other pending orders. You are paying for shorter delivery times. Service is measured in working days (Monday - Friday). EXAMPLE: Order Placed: Wednesday, March 4 3-day service selected Order Processed: Thursday Evening, March 5 Order Shipped: Friday, March 6 Order Received: Wednesday, March 11 Guarantees and Return Policy 30-day Money Back Guarantee If for any reason you are not satisfied with our products, just return them with within 30 calendar days from the date shipped for full credit, refund, or exchange. The following conditions apply: Products must be returned in the same condition as you received them. Please repackage products carefully to prevent damage in transit. Please fully insure items. We are not liable for lost or damaged returns. We do not refund or credit shipping charges. You pay for the return shipping cost as well as the shipping and handling amount you were charged when we processed your order. Also, if you are requesting an exchange, we may charge you an additional shipping charge to send the new items back to you. No refunds for returned sound recordings (cassettes & CD's), videotapes, or software. These items may be returned for credit or exchange only. Exceptions to our return policy: We don't make shipping mistakes very often, but if we ship you the wrong product, we'll pay both the return shipping costs as well as the cost to send you the right product. Please contact us first for return instructions. Special orders are generally not returnable. You'll know if you made a special order because it won't be available on our web site. We can often get products not listed so just ask us. Periodically, we may offer special promotions (like clearance sales) which are not returnable or which have different terms. When other terms are specified, they take precedence over our regular return policy. Policy on Price Changes and Prior Sales: We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Please be sure to set up your browser to reload these pages each time you start a session if you want to see a current sales list and up-to-date prices. Some browsers default to a mode where they store the pages in a local disk cache and do not automatically refresh the data. Most items are one-of-a-kind, unique and are subject to prior sale. We do NOT charge your credit card until the product is ready to ship. Privacy Statement: Northern California Indian Development Council, Inc. (NCIDC) operates the American Indian Art and Gift Shop. NCIDC will not sell or otherwise distribute personal information given to us for the purpose of purchasing products from our web site. All information provided by the customer is kept confidential and is used only for the sole purpose of completing the sales transaction. The vast majority of items we offer are legal for sale in all states and most countries. However, some of the products we sell are from animals or plants and may not be legal for you to purchase in your home state or country. To the best of our knowledge, all the items we offer are legal for sale in the state of California. However, various laws change regularly and since it is difficult for us to keep up with the laws in our own state, you can understand why it is impossible for us to know the laws applicable to your state or country. Therefore, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to be familiar with the laws of your state or country. Northern California Indian Development Council, Inc. is in no way offering to sell you a product that is not legal for you to purchase, import, or possess. You are responsible for any fines or penalties imposed should you purchase a product you cannot legally buy from us. You also agree to release us from any liability for providing such products. We do NOT sell illicit goods, however sometimes, items which seem ordinary may actually be protected or restricted in some places. For example, while turkey feathers are legal in California, other web sites state that they are restricted in some southern states. Products from elk such as leather and antler are legal in most states, however elk are protected in California. We cannot sell whole elk antler, but it's OK to sell elk antler pieces for belt buckles and the like. Because we don't want to cause problems for our customers (or for ourselves), we would appreciate receiving notification of the laws applicable to your state if you are familiar with them, especially if you work for an enforcement agency. Please send us copies of the laws and regulations. We'll make sure we don't ship restricted products to those locales. |
